1. Business Disclosure

Remote Notary Course is an Approved California Secretary of State Notary Public Education vendor. Your credit card statement may reflect Notary Course or Notary. You acknowledge that you are responsible for selecting the correct course (3-hour or 6-hour) required for your specific commission status.

2. Certification Requirements & Mandatory Fees

To receive an official California “Proof of Completion” certificate, students must meet all of the following criteria:

Course Attendance: Completion of the full mandatory seat-time (3 or 6 hours) as tracked by our system.
Examination: Achieving a passing score on the final course quiz. Failing the quiz or merely viewing the material does not constitute “completion” for certification purposes.
Service Fee: Payment of a mandatory $12.00 administrative service fee. This fee is separate from the course tuition and covers the verification, generation, and digital delivery of your official certificate.

3. Access Duration & Tiers

Your license to access the course material is time-limited based on the tier purchased ($29.99/$39.99 for 6 months; $39.99/$49.99/$119 for 12 months). Access expires automatically at the end of the term. It is the user’s responsibility to complete the course, pass the quiz, and pay the certification fee within this timeframe.

4. User Conduct & Integrity

California Law requires that the registered student personally completes the course. Any evidence of “course sharing,” automated completion, or attempt to circumvent the final quiz will result in immediate account termination and the voiding of any Proof of Completion with no refund.

5. Intellectual Property & License Grant

All content provided on this website—including but not limited to course logic, software architecture, PHP scripts, the “Master Student Progress Dashboard” framework, proprietary quiz questions, video materials, and text—is the exclusive Intellectual Property of Remote Notary Course.

(a) Limited License: Upon purchase, you are granted a single, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the materials for the duration of your purchased tier. Access is strictly for the individual registered student.

(b) Prohibitions: You are strictly prohibited from copying, scraping, recording, republishing, or using “print screen” functions to capture course materials. Any unauthorized redistribution of our content is a violation of Federal Copyright Law.

(c) Account Integrity: Sharing login credentials with third parties constitutes a material breach of this contract and theft of service. We utilize automated monitoring to detect simultaneous logins from multiple IP addresses; such activity will result in immediate permanent account suspension without notice or refund.

6. Disclaimer

Remote Notary Course provides the education required for the California Notary Commission. We do not guarantee that you will pass the State Exam or be granted a commission, as those are dependent on individual performance and State-mandated background checks.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. By agreeing to these terms, you waive the right to dispute charges based on a claim of “non-receipt of certificate” if you have failed to pass the quiz or have not paid the $12.00 mandatory service fee. Any legal disputes shall be handled in Los Angeles County, CA.
